Alright so here it is...the logo that will hopefully be going on the back of the cards, please give me your opinion!

After a Long day's work...

Well, I didn't get much done yesterday and I didn't get much done today. Tomorrow is out of the question since I work 8:30am - 9:15pm and so is Friday since I am in Woodstock haha! But I did tally my cards today and I have around 50 cards (not too shabby), and then I have 6 sets of 4.

I managed to cram 5 cards in today, which was pushing it because each one took a lot of time compared to the other simpler ones that I was making.

No Such Luck!

Oh man, I must have jinxed myself last night saying I hoped I wasn't going to get called in, cause as soon as I finished my first card, the phone rang and I said guaranteed that is going to be work calling me in, and of course being the wonderfully awesome person that I am I said yes...and was miserable the rest of the day. I don't know why I said yes, but I guess it is giving me money to pay for all the supplies and such that I need.

Anyways, I did get a couple of cards done today and I will hopefully get a lot done tomorrow, since I am finished work by 1:30. :)

New cards!

Alright, so I apologize for taking so long in getting new cards made and posted, but I worked everyday, and I was able to get out this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with my amazing friends and get to dance my heart away!

I will be making cards all day tomorrow since I have the day off, unless I get called in, but I am crossing my fingers I don't get called in!

Questions!

Hey there!

I've been getting a lot of questions recently about my cards, and they seem to be a lot of the same questions, and they are really good questions! So I figured I would answer them here.

1. What are they made of?
               
           Awesome question! The typical items that I use are:
                             Card Stock
                             Rubber Stamps
                             Stickers
                             Rub-on Stickers
                             Ribbon
                             Chalks
                             Inks
                             Cut-Outs
            Now I don't use these on every card, but you will see these in the different 
            cards I make.

2. Do you make the designs yourself?
                 
           I make almost all the designs myself. I do use some templates from online,
           but I usually change them around to add my own flare to them. For 
           example I did the Fireplace cards from scratch, I drew them out by hand 
           and it was all done by me, where as the 3 hats (blue card) as a template 
           from online, but I changed the hats around and coloured them in. 

3. How long does it take to make one card?

           Well, it usually takes me about 30-40 minutes to make one of the larger
           cards because I need to make sure that they are precise and that they 
           are looking there best. It can sometimes take a while to come up with 
           a fresh idea for a design on the cards as well because I don't want to
           do too many of the same cards. For the smaller sets of 4 they usually
           take about 30minutes as a whole because they are simple cards that all 
           have the same design, so I am able to cut out everything I need at once 
           for all 4 then just stick them on to the cards. 

4. Do I have a Logo on the back?

            I will now! Ha ha! It took me forever to come up with a Logo that I
            actually liked. It took about 2 weeks to come up with it, but I am 
            happy to say that last night in my boredom at work I drew out 
            something that I like. I will post it to get feedback before I put it on 
            the cards. It's something simple, quick and I think pretty cute!   


5. What are you charging for them?
             
            I am charging $2.50 for the larger cards (single). Then $4.00 for a 
            set of 4 as they are smaller in size.

I also made these today. They aren't as heavy of a paper, but they are still very cute and very usuable. For the middle of the flower I used old buttons we had lying around the house.

I've been busy!

So I worked a short shift this morning and I was home by shortly after 2 and I've been making card since. With a few breaks here and there for a snack, dinner and of course washroom breaks haha.
